This past Saturday we broke ground on the JCOS community garden. Beds were built, irrigation was set in place and weeds were pulled, all with the awesome help of the JCOS community!

Ready, Set, Go...
The first day of JCOS Garden Construction is Saturday May 12th, two sessions 9 am to noon and 1pm to 3pm. If you can come in the morning or afternoon or both we will be building and laying out beds and trenching for irrigation. The more hands the better. The next construction Day is the following Saturday May 19th where the hope is to build the sheet mulch so the students can start planting the seedlings they started in the classrooms.
